Lesly
Levy
Lesly began her love for movement early on in her childhood
doing gymnastics at her elementary school in Chicago.
After college, Lesly spent a short time in the advertising
world only to discover that her true passion was
health and physical fitness. Professionally instructing
within the fitness field for over 15 years (initially
specializing in personal training, perinatal fitness,
youth fitness and stretching techniques), Lesly brings
her vast knowledge of fitness, injuries and injury prevention
to her Pilates teaching. In July, 2003, she opened
Mindful Moves Pilates Center, now one of the most highly
recognized classical Pilates studios in Westchester,
NY.
Lesly
received her first of three Pilates Certifications
in April, 2000 from the Physicalmind Institute of New
York. With a perfect score on her written
exam, this Certification boasts a gold seal of excellence.
During 2001 and 2002, Lesly assisted Liz Gilles in Presenting
Pilates workshops at both the ECA Convention in NYC
as well as Sarah City Convention in Florida. In
2002, Lesly began her studies with Bob Liekens and the
Power Pilates team and received her Power Pilates Certification
in July, 2003. In September, 2005, Lesly became
gold certified with the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA).
Today, Lesly teaches continuing education courses for
Power Pilates, is a Sr. Teacher Trainer for Power Pilates,
continues to instruct her long standing clientele and
maintains her studies with Bob Liekens and Susan Moran-Perich
at Power Pilates as well as with Irene Dowd, renowned
neuromuscular educator located in NYC.
Lesly's other qualifications and specialties include:
ACE Certified Personal Trainer (2/93), ACE Certified
Group Fitness Instructor (11/94), Johnny G Spinning
Certified, Reebok Cycling Certified, and Yogafit Certified.
ACE Specialties of Recognition include: Perinatal
Fitness, Youth Fitness, Mind/Body Integration (Yoga),
and Flexibility Training (PNF Stretching).
Lesly is an avid skier, wife and mother of two.

Kenna
Feeney
Kenna,
a native of the Boston area, rode the Internet boom
as a software developer. She started studying
Pilates to help relieve the stress of the long hours
and the frequent travel. After the Internet bust,
Kenna decided to pursue a more fulfilling career and
began the teacher training program with Power Pilates.
She currently holds a Mat Certification as well as a
certification in all three systems training (1 (beginner),
II (Intermediate) and most recently III (advanced).
In June 2007, Kenna also aquired her PMA Certification..
Kenna spends
her time away from the studio enjoying the company of
her husband, young son, and boxer puppy.

Jennifer Cromie
Jennifer
has been a fitness professional since 1984. In
an attempt to learn why she was losing business to it,
in 2004, Jennifer began exploring the world of Pilates.
While learning what all the fuss was about, she
fell in love with the practice and quickly started pursuing
her professional education with Power Pilates.
Certifications
that Jennifer holds include: AFAA Personal Training,
Johnny G. Spinning, Silver Sneakers, Yogafit, Power
Pilates Beginner and Intermediate mat, as well as Power
Pilates Systems I (beginner apparatus), System II (intermediate),
and System III (advanced) - Sept 2006-July 2007.
When
not teaching, Jennifer enjoys time with her husband,
road cycling and running. She is a member of the
Sleepy Hollow Bicycle Team's Elite Squad and is an avid
competitor of bicycle races and biathlons.

| Patty
Cartelli
Patty obtained her Pilates Certification from Power
Pilates in New York. Patty began her training
in 2001 and has completed Systems I,II, and III (beginner,
intermediate and advanced levels). In March, 2004,
shortly after aquiring the first of the Systems training,
she began teaching both mat and apparatus at Mindful
Moves. While working for Mindful Moves Patty finished
the remainder of her certification and continues to
take her weekly lessons with Lesly as well as continuing
education to further her knowledge of movement and anatomy.
Patty's past teaching experience was in Elementary
Education.
Patty practices
Pilates regularly in order to maintain a strong and
flexible spine. She is married and the mother
of 3 children. |

Jessica Curley
Jessica Curley first discovered the benefits of Pilates as a dancer. But it was while pursuing a Masters in Social Work that she realized that teaching Pilates would combine her love of working with people with her interest in movement.
Upon graduation, she obtained an Advanced System teaching certification from Power Pilates in New York.
In 2004, she opened the Pilates Studio of Saratoga in Saratoga Springs, NY, which she operated for 4 years.
She recently relocated with her husband and Golden Retriever to Somers, NY and is thrilled to be a part of the Mindful Moves team.

Lauren Karr
As
a student of Pilates for the past four years, Lauren
has completely reshaped her body and increased both
her strength and flexibility beyond her own expectations.
In 2004, she decided that she wanted to pass her knowledge
on to others and help empower them as well. In
the fall of 2004, Lauren completed her Mat Certification
with Power Pilates at Mindful Moves and has been instructing
at Mindful Moves ever since. She has, since that time,
completed all three apparatus/Power Pilates Systems
certifications (I-beg, II-int, and III-adv).
When
not teaching, Lauren is playing competitive tennis on a USTA
team and spends time with her husband and two children.

Heather Wohl
Heather began studying Pilates in 2001 while working in finance. Excited by the constant challenge that Pilates presents its students, Heather decided to begin her certification in 2006.
She is certified by Power Pilates to teach Beginner
Mat and Beginner and Intermediate Apparatus (Systems
I,II). She will begin the Advanced Level Systems in
November, 2008. Away from the studio, Heather
spends time with her husband and two small children.

Tiffany Mcleod
Tiffany began training in Pilates right after the birth
of her daughter in 2006 in a vein Attempt to reshape
her body and reach her pre-pregnancy weight. It became
apparent Within the first 2 sessions that this would
become a lifelong practice and love. After 6 Months
or so of training 3-4 times a week, Tiffany was encouraged
by her teacher, and A glimmer of hope of eventually
leaving her career as a textile designer in the fashion
Industry, she decided to get her beginner mat certification
Tiffany decided she would take it all the way. Since
then she has completed her Beginner and Intermediate
systems training and will finish her advanced in Nov/Dec
of 2008.
This Empowering switch in mindset and career has allowed Tiffany to teach others to love and challenge themselves in their own bodies and minds through Pilates. Becoming a good role model for her daughter and a happier and more content person in general, she hopes to encourage others to take control and find their center in the same manner she has.
Tiffany lives in New Jersey with her husband Matt, daughter Shea and dog Annabelle and enjoys spending as much time as possible with them.

Deborah Slade
Deborah was first introduced to Pilates decades ago as a student of dance and drama at
Dartmouth College. At a time when Pilates had yet to find an audience and in a place that was hours away from the nearest city, Deborah was fortunate enough to be mentored by several instructors who studied with Joe himself. With no apparatus available in the back woods of New Hampshire, they organized Pilates exercises into something call a mat class- probably one of the first of its kind.
Several children and several careers later, Pilates
has remained a constant in Deborah’s Life. Recently,
when she decided to make a career change, teaching Pilates
was a natural Fit-combining her passion for movement,
her skills and experience as a teacher and Communicator,
and her belief in the Pilates method as a discipline
that enhances every aspect of one’s life Deborah finished
her comprehensive certification at Power Pilates in
New York City in July of 2008. She also holds certificaitons
in both beginner and intermediate mat from Power Pilates
as well. She not only looks forward to sharing the knowledge
and experience that she’s acquired with her students
but continuing to be a student of Pilates, herself.

Erica Charpentier
Erica began studying Pilates in 2002 and quickly became a devotee. In the summer of 2005 she received her Beginner Mat Certification from Power Pilates. When not working as a Pilate’s instructor, Erica maintains a busy career in the non-profit sector, and enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
She is happy to be able to share her love of Pilates with other students, and is proud to be part of the Mindful Moves Family.

Donna Gillet
Donna has been working at Mindful Moves Pilates since August of 2004 in an administrative position and has been practicing pilates there for three years. She loves to share her pilates knowledge with others and decided to make it official by obtaining her Mat Certification from Power Pilates in NYC.
In addition to pilates, Donna has a love for fitness, and she weight trains five days a week, runs, and is a competitive tennis player. She is a mother of three teenagers and happily married to an Ironman triathlete

Roberta
Holinko
10 Years ag, Roberta and her husband moved from
Manhattan to raise their family in Northern Westchester. Originally She planned to continue her career as a set decorator in film, but long hours and the desire to spend time with her family prevailed.
Roberta begain studying pilates 8 years ago as a
ccompliment to her rigorous Ashtanga yoga practice.
She has had the privilage of studying with Sri Pattabhi Jois, David Williams and David Swenson and is
continually thankful to the practice.
Roberta holds a Beginner Mat Certification from
Power Pilates and is in the midst of the comprehensive
apparatus certification which she hope to complete by March "08. She has a strong desire to share the experience of movement as a vehicle to find the freedom in one's true spirit.
